Dev Log 14 - Mia Shieldmaiden or Ronin

Hi Community! Time for Dev Log 14!

Added on 08.08.2026: We are sorry for the delay of the dev log. The irony is that we had everything prepared yesterday evening. We wanted to render one more image for each outfit so you could make a better decision. However, during rendering we were hit with a blackout. It was one of our longest so far, lasting seven hours. Due to this delay, the vote will be expanded until Tuesday at 08:00 UTC.

Here is what we have been working on since last report:

• Current number of renders: EP2 - 337

• Current number of animations: EP2 - 3

• Current percentage of text completed: EP2 ~ 80%

• ETA for the next episode: 01.09.2026

This week was very productive. We continued working on the Coastal town scene, and completed the arrival as well as Gloria's part of the scene. We are now working on Mia’s and Emily’s parts. Emily’s part will be the longest, and one week will be required for that section alone. We also have our biggest scene yet to be completed, which is the Viareggio Carnival scene.

Additionally, we have posted our monthly wallpapers. There are SFW 4K versions for everybody, and NSFW 4K and 8K versions for our Sinners. This month, Emily is the headliner. These wallpapers are segments of a scene we are planning for Episode 3. To share a little piece of game history, this was the first scene we ever prepared, and it was where we felt Emily truly became our main girl! This will be a very interesting scene for players because the dynamic of all relationships will change drastically by then.

But we still have quite a long way to go until then...

In the spirit of Carnival, we are hosting our next costume vote. Same as last week's vote, she will show both options to MC in game, but you decide what she will wear for the rest of the scene. Today, you decide between Shieldmaiden Mia and Ronin Mia. After the earlier events in Episode 2, Mia feels vulnerable and wants to reclaim her strength. She decides that a strong warrior costume is just what she needs. Help her decide if she will go as a hero who wears her bravery on her sleeve, or if she will choose the more silent resilience reflected in a wandering ronin.
